Gents Mag. Jul 1809, p.672 (col. 1) in 'Country News': Rev Wright, curate Long Sutton, Lincs (= Sutton St Mary), 'dreadfully gored' by a bull while returning from taking a burial in Luton and 'his life despaired of'. It seems he recovered. Information supplied by Gillian Williamson 22/3/2012
