He seems to have subscribed to the curacy of Little Coxwell (parish of Faringdon with Little Coxwell, Berkshire)as a deacon on 22/5/1668, whereas his ordination as deacon is given (in one record) as 2/6/1668 in Visitation Book WSRO D5/29/3, i.e. 10 days later. But other ordination record gives his ordination as priest by Bp of Gloucester on 6/6/1668 - which seems the more likely)
