  According to West Stoke parish register, Etherington was also the curate of Funtington in 1580-82, and that he was buried on 26 March 1610/11. Information supplied by Melody Reitsma 12 Jan 2016.
  
  The 1620 Liber Cleri record is clearly a mistake in the record keeping.
