P.C. of Stow-cum-Quy, Cambs., 1825-86. Sometime Chaplain to Lord St Leonards, and to the County gaol, Cambridge. Assisted, during 1858, in the historical and legal parts of Vol. III of the Catalogue of MSS. in the University library. Resided latterly at 3, Bateman Street, Cambridge, where he died Sept. 12, 1886, aged 85; buried in Quy churchyard. Doubtless brother of Henry L. (1827) and Joseph U. (1829). (T. A.
