In Gelling (1998): b 30/7/1797 in German son of Henry Gill, a customs officer at Peel and Marcia d. of Henry Corlett [CCE7251]; his family had farmed Kenna for generations; D 1820, P 12/1824 in Bishopcourt chapel; Chap of St John's 1820-4; C Ballaugh 1824-7; after the suspension of Christian of Malew in 1827 appointed priest in charge and vicar in 1830 to d. 10/1871.
