Oriel College, Oxford, where he took his BA on 12 Feb 1754, received the Robinson Exhibition Prize on 12 Nov of the same year, and was admitted MA on 28 Jan 1760 - Holt-White (1901) p.23, p.81; Burton (1979) p.3
