Wainewright in Ampleforth Journal 17:1 (1911)pp. 38-49 (monlib.org.uk/papers/aj/aj1911/arcdeacons.pdf - accessed 17 Dec. 2015). This states his LLB was from Oxford, he was rector of Newington Bagpath Gloucestershire; rector of Freshwater, IOW of which he was deprived shortly after deprivation as archdeacon of Hereford; also R of Whippingham, IOW.
