Although said to be BD in several records, cannot yet find in Venn or Foster. The two benefices in Exeter diocese and the one at Wellingborough in Peterborough diocese appear reasonably firm; for all them he is BD, and some call him queen's chaplain, Queen Elizabeth is patron and either death is specified in 1571 or a new incumbent takes over in 1571.
Other less sure locations (although they are logical) are as V of Aveley, Essex in 1552, deprived because of marriage 1552, restored 1559, queen is patron - however a record says he died in 1566 but a curate appointed in 1571 and it seems likely that 1566 is error. Also same name rector of Langham, Essex from 11 Apr. 1565, new incumubent 1571, a record of a 'not given' dying in 1571 in London diocese records, where there is a note that this might be 'Robert Breecher', rector since 1565. VCH covering Hornchurch and Romford in Essex and other local history material suggests that he could have been (already a BD) a chantry chaplain at Romford chapel in Hornchurch parish, and curate of Romford 1548 before his move to Aveley in 1551.
