Chaplain to the Royal Hospital for Consumption, Brompton, 1850-73; retired. [As an undergraduate was one of those sworn in as a special constable by Dr Whewell, on the occasion of the riots, when the mob attacked the Anatomical Schools; for an account of the outbreak, see Cooper, Annals, IV. 574.] Died Dec. 19, 1886, aged 76, at 19, Cathcart Road, West Brompton.
