  See VCH for complex relationship between Sevenhampton and Hawling, and the other two parishes mentioned. Because of split impropriations, John Lawrence was twice instituted to Hawling. VCH gives his father's name as Walter - the Lawrences held the manor of Sevenhampton.
  
  Thus the details in Foster which otherwise seemed to fit may not be his:
  Foster: son of John of Sevenhampton, pleb., QUEEN'S matric. 18 June 1751 aged 20; BCL 1767
